Thoughts From Haiti

I love leading teams to Haiti for so many reasons. One of my favorite parts about the first couple days a team is here is that those who have been on previous trips get to see the progress that was made since the last time they were here. One of the team members with us this week had his last trip in 2010. It is so exciting hearing his perspective on everything that Mission E4 has accomplished over the last eight years.

Another one of my highlights from the first couple days of any team is that those who sponsor children get to meet them! The sponsorship relationship is so meaningful to the Haitian children; and it is so exciting for them to meet the person who has been helping to put them through school, provide consistent food, and more. It is also special for the sponsors, both who get to meet their child for the first time, and for those who haven't seen them in a while.

I was so excited today to be able to introduce a sponsor to his child that he and his wife and been sponsoring for the last six years! Here are a few pictures from these special visits today:

If you would like to sponsor one of the many students who still needs one, please visit our website at www.missione4.com
